Another customer we ADORE here at SequinQueen is James Decker, aka Miss Bianca (Binki to his friends) who has been doing drag since what seems the beginning of time--and we should know because we have been making dresses for him about that long too!

James got his start performing in drag in the late '80s. Doing small shows at local clubs and making a name for himself. He went on to form various groups such as "Queens to Supremes" and "Divalicious" and was paired up with another performer to ignite the city of Edmonton at the Stardust Lounge with a high-quality nightclub act that wowed crowds and critics alike.

Not only has he done club work in various straight and gay bars, James has also been on television many times, featured in newspapers, done shows for the cast of Miss Siagon, preformed at the International Fringe Festival (to which he and his friends played to sold-out rooms) and has toured in many plays. Binki also performed in West Edmonton Mall (the world's largest mall, natch) in drag--which must have been quite a shock for all those moms and their kiddies out to have a quiet burger at McDonalds...Through humor and glamour though, he bowls the crowds over every time he steps onstage!

Since discovering SequinQueen, James says, "I've been able to take my characters to another level of glamour. I have over 25 gowns with more on the way every couple months--yes I have other clothes, but nothing beats a SequinQueen gown." James very kindly turned his friends on to SequinQueen and now they all shop with us!

Known as one of Edmonton's premier Drag Queens, James is honored that he has been asked every year for the past 5 years to host the Edmonton Pride Festival. He leads, arranges and hosts for thousands of proud gays, lesbians and straights who come out to show their Pride!
